It has been a real joy working on this blog but all good things must come to an end. Most people interested in programming have given us their email addresses and seem to prefer that mode of communication so the blog has lost its reason for being. In addition, there is increased flexibility with posting to our official website (http://www.forsyth.cc/library/Kernersville/default.aspx).
If you are seeing this and want to be added to the Kernersville Library e-newsletter list, please send an email with your name to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you to those who have read, commented on, or shared the information they received from this blog. Let’s stay connected!

If you want different results then you have to take different actions on a consistent basis. (Billy Cox)
Take away points from Crystal Holland’s presentation:
* Dream in secret and plan in the open
* Whenever possible, ask the author directly
* Use the 6 degrees of separation
* Enrich the experience
* Never give up!
What author(s) would you come to the Kernersville Library to meet?

Wicked : The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire
At our groups’s first meeting last night, we decided to go green for March and read Wicked by Maguire. I’m a bit nervous as this is WAY outside of my genre comfort zone. We want to have fun with it though and so I’m hoping that after our members finish the book they will flock to the musical! 🙂
