Thursday, April 7- Friends of the Library Noon Book Club
The April book is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Henrietta Barret will lead the discussion.
Saturday, April 9- Energy Saving, Low Cost Housing & Home Maintenance Tips (11:00am-12:30pm; Room 4- basement)
If you are short on time and money, learn the skills to maintain your living environments inside and outside. This program will cover energy-saving and cleaning tips for every room in the house or apartment as well as how to maintain the area with affordable and safe products. Please call Kathy Hepler at 336-703-2852 to register!
Monday, April 11- Golf Ergonomics (6-7pm; Room 7- basement)
This event is part of the Wellness Series, which is sponsored by The Foundation for Wellness Professionals. The program will feature tips from a golf instructor on how to stay safe and have fun on the course. There will be light refreshments served. However, seats are limited, so please call 336-996-7007 to register.
Youth Services Programming Notes
Friday, April 8 at 4pm in Room 1: Easter Craft: Bunny Masks. For ages 11 and under. Registration is required. To register, call 703-2933 or reply to this email.
Friday, April 29 at 4pm in Room 7: Teen Movie: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. For ages 12-18. Free popcorn and drinks!
Also, please be advised that there will be no storytimes this week (April 6th and 7th). They are putting in new carpet downstairs, and we won’t be able to have any programs Monday through Thursday. We will still be in Room 1 in the basement for the bunny mask craft on Friday, April 8 though. Sorry for the inconvenience! We’ll be back with storytime on April 13th and 14th in Room 7.
